We are looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager to lead our South India business. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent clinical selling skills, and the ability to build and develop high-performing sales teams while driving sustainable business growth.

Role Overview: The Regional Sales Manager – South will be responsible for driving business growth across the assigned region leading a team of 4–6 Sales and Application Specialists. The role involves developing regional business strategies, coaching the field team, building strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and stakeholders, managing key accounts, driving therapy adoption, and ensuring achievement of sales targets for the team and the region. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring regular field coaching, customer engagement, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in medical device sales, preferably in Critical Care, Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care, Respiratory Care, or related acute care segments, with proven experience in leading high-performing sales teams and driving adoption of clinically differentiated technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Should possess strong clinical & technical orientation (Medical Device Products).
Identify high-potential markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
Support the team in handling complex customer interactions, product demos and negotiations with Institutions.
Drive product adoption across Neonatal ICUs, Paediatric ICUs, Government Institutions, Corporate Hospitals, and Private Hospitals.
Monitor market coverage, customer visits, product evaluations, demonstrations, and conversion rates.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4–6 Sales and Application Specialists.
Conduct regular field coaching through joint customer visits.
Personally manage strategic and high-value accounts within the region.
Improve the team’s selling capabilities, clinical knowledge, objection handling, and negotiation skills.
Build a high-performance culture driven by accountability, execution, and customer focus.
Conduct weekly sales reviews, lead pipeline reviews and performance discussions.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members.
Maintain an accurate sales funnel with realistic opportunity forecasting.
Ensure timely submission of sales reports, market intelligence, and business forecasts.
Identify, appoint, and develop channel partners where applicable.
Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Biosciences, Engineering and/or an MBA.
Proficiency in English and Hindi is required.
Knowledge of regional language(s) relevant to the assigned territory is preferred.
8–12 years of progressive experience in Medical Device Sales, with at least 4–6 years in a people management role leading regional or area sales teams.
Mandatory experience in selling medical devices to hospitals and healthcare institutions.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in Critical Care, Neonatal ICU (NICU), Paediatric ICU (PICU), Respiratory Care, Anaesthesia, or Intensive Care medical devices.
Demonstrated success in managing and growing business across government institutions, corporate hospital chains, and private hospitals.
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding regional sales targets while leading high-performing teams.
Achieve assigned sales revenue targets and contribute to territory business growth.
