Saans is a comprehensive non-invasive breathing support solution incorporating multiple therapy modes into a single device. These are:

Saans is a fully digital, sensor-based system. Unlike a traditional, analog Bubble CPAP system where parameter delivery is mechanical, Saans’ Bubble CPAP mode incorporates digital control and monitoring of flow and FiO, and continuous monitoring of Pressure. In nCPAP mode, Pressure also is controlled and monitored digitally, by the device. 

Saans has an innovative Resuscitation mode, which provides for the delivery of blended air-oxygen to neonates during resuscitation or short-term transport. This feature provides a significant advantage over T-piece resuscitators, which are generally used with 100% oxygen only. 

In a hospital, Saans replaces multiple different equipment types with a single system. Instead of requiring a separate Bubble CPAP system, HFNC device, and T-Piece Resuscitator, a single Saans unit can provide all required therapy types as an affordable solution, reducing overall price.
