In a pilot during the Covid pandemic, VAPCare was shown to drastically reduce caregiver-patient interactions and bedside time compared to the manual standard of care.
In a pilot during the Covid pandemic, VapCare demonstrated greater secretion clearance and reduced need for antibiotics, compared to the manual standard of care.
Two-arm, 420-patient clinical trial ongoing at Narayana Health Bangalore comparing VapCare with manual standard of care on VAP incidence, and secondary endpoints including cost of antibiotic. Interim analysis on 126 patients submitted for publication.
